Daily Grin November 1
Happy November 1st! What a week this will be. Tomorrow, I will be training two people to do part of my old job. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. They will each take on a part of what I have been doing. In the meantime, I still have to find time for my new job! Fortunately, my boss recognized that too much of my time was being taken up by doing the old job in addition to my new job and she took steps to correct that.
For those of you in the USA, don't forget to vote!! Even if you have to wait in a long line, it's worth your time!

Building a House
Two blonds were building a house. The one who was nailing down siding would reach into his nail pouch, pull out a nail and either toss it over his shoulder or nail it in. The other, figuring this was worth looking into, asked, "Why are you throwing those nails away?"
The first explained, "If I pull a nail out of my pouch and it's pointed toward ME, I throw it away 'cause it's defective. If it's pointed toward the HOUSE, then I nail it in!"
The second got completely upset and yelled, "You MORON!!! The nails pointed toward you aren't defective! They're for the other side of the house!!"
